The itinerary covers some of the main national parks of India which are very popular habitats of Royal Bengal Tiger like Kanha & Bandhavgarh after you have experienced the Delhi culture with all its glorious past and the Imperial buildings. We then move on to Khajuraho, famous for its erotic paintings and architecture before heading to Agra to see the most coveted monuments of current times, The Taj Mahal.

Suggested extensions

Extend the trip by a couple of nights to explore the capital city of the Royal State of Rajasthan with its colourful markets and lovely people.

Visit Varanasi for 2 nights, a city compared to Nineveh of biblical times, where people flock in search of salvation and divinity.

You can also fly to Goa to relax on the sunny and golden beaches of Goa for a couple of nights.

Day 01 - Arrival / Delhi

Meeting and assistance on arrival on international airport and transfer to Hotel for overnight.

Delhi, Capital City of independent India rewards the determined sightseer with more than a thousand monuments and two old capital buildings complexes-including the present seat of Government, designed by the British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. Cosmopolitan hotels, shopping, and fine restaurants abound. Delhi also offers a glimpse into the real India: the labyrinthine street bazaars of Old Delhi, and the temples and monuments of Indian’s chequered colonial past.

Day 02 Delhi

After breakfast city sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi.

Your tour includes a visit to the Jama Masjid Mosque, built in 1656 AD. Continue to the The Red fort and the narrow and winding streets of Chandni Chowk Bazaar by cycle rickshaw. The Red Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) is a 17th-century fort complex constructed by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. Afternoon explore New Delhi, and its historical monuments like Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, India gate and drive past the Rajpath.

Day 03 - Delhi / Jabalpur / Kanha National Park

Early morning assisted transfer to airport for flight to Nagpur.

Assistance on arrival at Nagpur airport and drive 4 to 5 hrs to Kanha National Park. On arrival check into your lodge and if time permits, game viewing into the park or nature walk around the lodge. Overnight stay at Camp / Jungle Lodge

Day 04 - Kanha National Park

Early morning exclusive game viewing in the national park with your private naturalist.

Afternoon again game viewing into the park by exclusive jeep with naturalist. Overnight stay at Camp / Jungle Lodge.

Note: On Wednesdays there will be only morning safari as per the rules of the park authorities.

Day 05 - Kanha National Park

Early morning exclusive game viewing in the national park with your private naturalist.

Afternoon again game viewing into the park by exclusive jeep with naturalist.

Overnight stay at Camp / Jungle Lodge

Note:- Please inform the lodge authorities that you would be leaving the next morning and would prefer packed lunch.

Day 06 - Kanha National Park / Bandhavgarh National Park

Today game viewing in the national park by exclusive jeep with naturalist. Return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, check out and drive 6 to 7 hrs to Bandhavgarh national park with picnic lunch.

On arrival at Bandhavgarh, check into the Jungle Lodge / Camp for overnight stay.

Day 07 - Bandhavgarh National Park

Early morning game viewing in the national park by exclusive jeep with naturalist. Free time to relax at the lodge and again in the afternoon proceed to the jungles for the safari by exclusive jeep with naturalist. Overnight stay at Camp / Jungle Lodge

Day 08 - Bandhavgarh National Park

Early morning exclusive game viewing in the national park with your private naturalist.

Afternoon again game viewing into the park by exclusive jeep with naturalist.

Overnight stay at Camp / Jungle Lodge

Day 09 - Bandhavgarh National Park / Khajuraho

Early morning game viewing in the national park by exclusive jeep with naturalist. Return to lodge for breakfast, check out and drive 4 hrs to Khajuraho. On arrival check into your hotel.

Late evening Sound and light show at the Western group of Temple Complex. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10 - Khajuraho / Jhansi / Agra

After early breakfast sightseeing of the temples of Khajuraho famous for their architecture and kamasutra carvings. Later drive 4 hrs to Jhansi railway station to board Shatabdi Exp train to Agra.

Assistance on arrival at Agra railway station and transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 11 - Agra / Delhi / Departure

Your guide will report early morning for your visit to Taj Mahal at sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast and then proceed with the city sightseeing of the remaining historical monuments of Agra.

Later drive 3 to 4 hrs to Delhi airport for flight to onward destination.
